This Code of Conduct applies to all members and stakeholders involved in digital lending activities.

Members shall maintain high standards of compliance, transparency and responsible conduct.

Appropriate monitoring and enforcement mechanisms shall be maintained.

Every Member shall maintain full compliance with all applicable laws, guidelines, circulars, and directives governing its operations. These include, but are not limited to, guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), SEBI, and other applicable regulatory authorities.

Every Member shall also be held responsible for ensuring that all its employees, agents, and operations comply with this Code of Conduct.

Governing legislations including the RBI Act, the Banking Regulation Act, and the Companies Act.
Guidelines and circulars issued by regulatory bodies governing digital lending.
All applicable consumer protection, data privacy, and anti-money laundering laws.
Members shall appoint a Compliance Officer responsible for ensuring regulatory adherence.

Members shall conduct their activities with integrity, transparency, fairness and accountability.

Members shall establish appropriate operational standards and internal controls.

Members shall maintain an accessible and transparent grievance redressal mechanism.
